how did this happen??

my inital intention was to just read about abraham lincoln.


but while i'm here i guess i'll explain a little something about tina. she had dumb, short legs and really messy brown hair. at least that's what i remember. and she was ugly. so ugly.

my aunt leona had pictures of the two of them going back to forever:
leona and tina at the beach in the late 50s,
leona and tina on tremont avenue in the mid 70s,
she and she in that same cluttered apartment in 1988.
no one ever remembered tina being a puppy exactly, but maybe at different points in her life, she'd been more energetic than others. they don't know where she'd been buried or picked up from some shelter again, how close, exactly, that she looked like her "old self" was a mystery,
too. it had never been confirmed, i'm realizing that she actually needed to be buried or begotten again and again.


for all i know, when my dad's aunt leona finally died, tina ran off with some other family to live for another fifty years.
